Leave me alone. That's idiotic.

I was hoping for so much better - especially when you told me not to raise my voice.

It's a shame you couldn't take your own advice.

*shrug*
Either you repeat the same conventional doctrines everybody is saying, or else you say something true, and it will sound like its from Neptune.

How about a viable heartbeat? That appears to be a logical time, I would think.

The truth is that technology has finally overtaken the issue. It is now possible to purchase over the counter drugs, which will induce spontaneous abortion, or what is called the Morning-After pill. It's already legal, and there are more headed down the pike. Like it or not, it's here already, and not to be stopped.

I still see this as a 'states rights' issue. The feds have no business telling the individual states what they can and cannot do. I state A wishes to authorize abortions, and state B does not, then it should be their right to decide, not some federal jurisdiction. And furthermore, the genie is already out with "Morning-After" medication, which I personally have no problem accepting.

But if a woman sits around and does nothing for several weeks, she should realize that she is carrying a real human being. And if they do something then, it is upon their conscience the blame will fall.

From another forum is this gem:

Quote:The Borak, tribe of Obama, from the land of Uzar, hills of a thousand cattle and rivers of HIV, infected mud and twice digested corn, whose head landed *thud* onto red clay dirt just underneath a quivering, bent over Jemima whose unseen, mysterious uterus, glowing with prophecy closed up like Wolverine as if kissed by a bowing unicorn, and who was foretold long ago in the book of gay dumbasses to bring hopeychange to the fractured states of racism and imperial hegemony, was born in a grain basin, head licked by a goat underneath a thatch roof hut, as presents were heaped upon him from 3 wealthy rappers from the East Side who were on Tour, and who gave him Frank incensed(their manager), a gold tooth and a dime bag.

Yes. The Founders argued that relegating most cultural issues to local State jurisdiction would automatically find the best solution for that particular group of people - which might be diametrically opposite than a solution for a different group of people from a different State. Although the solutions may be different, more people are served than a compromise forced on everybody.

Moreover, people who disagree with a solution from one area may vote with their feet and move to a State that they can agree with.

Quote:A fetus is no human life of its own, and has no consciousness. A fetus that can be aborted has max about the size and mass of a small finger, and no working brain yet. It does not think nor feel. Its existence depends on the mother, and no one but herself must make decisions about its fate. There must be a deadline though until which can be aborted, so the mother has the responsibility to make up her mind as soon as possible. 12 weeks is ok, afterwards only if severe disablilies are diagnosed.

So you subscribe to an arbitrary line, that determines whether a Fetus is worth caring for?

That's not arbitrary, that's a pragmatic compromise. I heared that some females recognize the moment of fertalisation, and have a couple of RU 486 in the bedside cabinet, but most need some weeks to figure it out. Therefore, a deadline is needed.
I wonder, you have no problem to kill people you regard as competition, or threat for your wealth, commies, Muslims, nazis, Jews, well the latter are temporarily exonerated in your eyes, but you got the idea, I hope. Of course, you don't state it's about profit, but drivel about freedom and national security instead. So, how comes you hypocrites driveling about the virtues of individualism agree with whoever your big government declares as your enemy, and worthy to be killed, but you deny the individual this decision?
BTW, who cares? The German passport gives you access to 132 countries w/o visa. 26 w/o border controls. Would it be prohibited there, why not take a small abortion holiday, and increase the GDP somewhere else.

The difference is they were long ago born and grew up,some who are vile people who cause a lot of pain and destruction. That is why they get opposed and killed if needed to be to stop them.

Has the Fetuses done any of that?

My wife is ASIAN and we did our thing and used pregnancy testing kits,to know within 3 days when she became pregnant. It is really easy to do it and yet so many people blithely screw around and then get surprised when they get sick or have new food craving come on.

It is no longer an excuse for people in developed countries,to closely be able to monitor when pregnancy begins, not to be able to KNOW when conception began.

What are you doing here? Play around in the climate change threads. However, since you popped up anyway, why not inform you that you are one of those vile people who cause a lot of pain and destruction. Global warming is becoming the ultimate threat to mankinds existence, and you cause damage by your agenda driven lie of global warming denial. What did you say, "That is why they get opposed and killed if needed to be to stop them."? Be happy there are people not thinking on this primitive level.

It appears that you have quickly run out of steam in the thread, and wants to talk about something off topic instead.
