How to be a Certified Jackass, in One Easy Lesson
#1
Our hats off to Representative John Conyers, for showing the US why voting Jackass is detrimental to one's Health, Liberties, and Well-Being.

Conyers on Why you Should not Bother Reading proposed legislation.

That's the husband of Monica Conyers who just got thrown in jail for bribery as a Detroit City Council member. Sure is a lot of Sergeant Schultz around: "I know Nothing!"

Did she actually go to jail? I hadn't heard about that. Could you give me a link to that?

Obviously she too is a certified Jackass. And note the propencity toward Larcenous intent amongst them. They are more lacking in morals, which would govern their behaviour.

From what I understand, she has pled guilty over the Synagro scandal and is facing five years in jail - but being John Conyers wife in Detroit, it is long odds that they'll slam the cell door behind her. Please check out this video, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Since then, Kwalme got the cell door slammed.

I saw this in your post and thought that you were simply somewhat misstating the title of the link in order to gain attention for your opinion.

Imagine my surprise when what you've said actually understates somewhat Conyers' statement!

If, as a Congress person, one can not understand legislation presented for a vote, then, in my opinion, that person should immediately resign, or be fired, on the grounds that they are not capable of holding the position.
I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

I agree. However with a Jackass, that is a resume enhancement.

Evidently BHO agreed with Conyers in 2004.

Jefferson: I place economy among the first and important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our choice between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy.

The simple truth is that both parties are capable of being blatant hypocrites. But why do the Jackasses have such a "lock" on the subject? For every act, amongst the S&G, there are many, many more amongst Jackasses. Why is this?

Monica Conyers is the one who for a long time stood in the way of the much needed expansion of Cobo Hall. Everyone agreed to it, the city, the suburbs, cities, counties--only she blocked the way. Now we know why. She was probably waiting to be offered a bribe.

Now that Monica has been indicted and effectively removed from the poliical scene, the Cobo Hall expansion is moving forward. The last real hurdle, a vote by city hall (without Conyers) just failed to block the plan.
