The Rise of the Politics of Fears
#1
This documentary explains how conservatives use fear and terror to maintain their power and authority, and how they created the dark illusion of Islamic terrorism to deceive you.

This link might work better, it's the sixth video from top, length 29:45. http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=po...res&hl=en#

Yea,we did that with communism before Islamic terrorism arrived. Before that,we did it with the UK& other European powers as the bogey man.

Our constitution was written with fear in mind, fear of any humans getting too much power like we have given them today.

Do you understand what it really is about? Freedom and individualism is tearing societies apart, yours too. That illusion of fear unites, purpose and meaning are given to you. Possible you agree with that strategy, you like being a cog in the machine, a puppet, but in this case stay honest, and stop this drivel about freedom and individualism. Then you are ideologically not any different from radical Islamists claiming the values of the West, liberalism, freedom, individualism lead to decay. Wait a minute, how many times have I said this before?

Fear mongering is commonly a product of special interests.

This documentary is too interesting. So you created all this Al Queda yourself, even their very name was chosen by you and adopted by them. Osama was nothing but a rich financier w/o an organisation of his own at the fringe of Islamic terrorism, which wasn't aimed at you, but at seizing power in Muslim countries (or regions, f.e. in case of the Uighurs). Hardly any of the so called terrorists in Guantanamo are there for plotted attacks against the West.
The Islamists, like you, claimed all the credit for destroying the evil empire of the Soviets (which is bullshit of its own because it simply collapsed by itself), and on the wings of this great success, they tried to seize power in a couple of Muslim countries. That failed, and they had nowhere to run but Afghanistan. Your invasion of Afghanistan destroyed them completely. Do you recall the good ole days of searching for Osamas sophisticated mountain fortress of Tora Bora?

here a couple of original Rumsfeld quotes

Never existed. The Al Queda network spanning 60 or so countries? Never existed. So, what good does the farce maintained serve? Well, fighting imaginary evil gives you a purpose, and the promise of providing security for you keeps politicians in power.
