I was reading an old Mary Mostert column. She mentioned that after the election, in February of '09, Bush had an approval rating of more than a third of the population.
Mary Mostert Wrote:[At that time,] President Obama has something like an 83% approval rating. Of course, in President Bush's first year in office, he had a 90% approval rating.
It is important to correct the appearance of overwhelming support of Obama, when no such thing exists.

His ability to induce unconstitutional changes that He does not have the authority to create, rests soley on the covering fire laid down by a sycophantic media.

I will know the tide has officially changed when Late Night jokes appear about Unconstitutional Czars, Unconstitutional firing of CEO's, Unconstitutional Federal ownership of businesses, and Unconstitutional ceding of powers to unions.

The seachange has already occurred - now we need the media to catch up.

I hope, for your sake, that you are not going to hold your breath until the media changes its tune?

The media is so plain stupid, that they fail to realize the danger they place themselves. If the State can remove other's liberties, what is to keep it from coming after it next? Nothing, of course. However, they are not smart enough to realize this.

I still contend that the journalism profession is even lower in intelligence/training/common sense/education than the education profession. And that is One Danming indictment.

Quote:I will know the tide has officially changed when Late Night jokes appear about Unconstitutional Czars, Unconstitutional firing of CEO's, Unconstitutional Federal ownership of businesses, and Unconstitutional ceding of powers to unions.

I'll let you moniter Letterman, for all of us, since many of us would not know how to look him up anyway. Wink1

I keep forgetting Bill, you are also a big fan of Fantasy, aren't you?

You really think the media will laugh at itself?

:?
I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

They already take themselves to seriously, considering their lack of plain 'horse sense'.

Wait.

Look at late night TV. Johnny Carson is long-gone, as is Jay Leno. The also-rans are playing a ratings game, and Fox has proved the way to win that battle. Why shouldn't Conan O'Brien use his brain to distinguish himself from the lackluster crowd? Letterman went after Palin to win ratings points against the new Tonight Show. Is there a pinheaded producer somewhere that tells his staff to shoot themselves in the foot, by doing more of the same?

Seeing that Fox entertainment already eclipses ABC, CBS, and NBC - the writing is on the wall. The Leftists now are facing an uphill ratings battle, sustained by their infrastructure - not by their support as shown by ratings. They really do follow the money - and most elitist entertainers are not so educated to hold opinions deeply. If a few break out of the Leftist mold, the rest will follow. Once a lemming, always a lemming.

If a few internet thoughts like this get into the mill, do you think the producers, stars, and writers won't see a new light at the end of the tunnel?

Well freedom of the press is the only important freedom, right?

Why? I have not bothered for over 20 years now. Why should I begin torturing myself again?

According to them Dear. However, Liberty is a multi-tiered entity. And the bedrock of ALL these Liberties is the Second Amendment, not just the First. If you cannot back something up(as in Secure/guarantee), you are only existing upon other's sufferage. Unfortunately, the world of journalism is so,...........let's be generous, and just say "average",.......that they are incapable of seeing beyond their "fill in the blank".

The damning thing is that they would have to lose the "First" in order to recognize the "Second" as being worth fighting for.

I stand by my appraisal of the Journalism profession. As Samual Clemmons once used the phrase, "They are not worth a bucket of spit".

Obama's approval rating is diving because he's losing the left, and winning the cheers of the right wing loonies. As it turned out, he is an Uncle Tom, W's third term. Nope, a comparison with Bush would insult most residents of a rubber cell, I take this back. Obama's a smarter Reagan.

I think people just now (wtf, you know) figured out who Obama really is, and it's showing, albeit its showing a bit too late.

He's not some great genious Q, he is just a socialist tard and people see it now.

Actually, the senators think he is in their pocket. Who is the real head of the Democratic party? Only Obama thinks he is. Sooner or later there will be a showdown.

With the senate, house and White House, these democracts are free to do what their heart's desire.

As Daily Kos stated,no excuse under the sun for them not to enact all the left's desires.

1)Nationalized healthcare

2)Government ownership or control of production they think is significant

3)Government authority to decide how electric power is generated including laws established making it impossible to sell your home w/o it having a government "signet ring" ,saying it is "green".

4)Government ability to pay for these decisions out of the pockets of someone other than those who support such idiotic ideas.
