Of course he's the perfect candidate. He is going to most likely be the next Ronald Reagan type, and I predict he will become president before it is all over. he's quite a guy. But I don't think it will help McCain enter the White House.

My thinking is geo-political - as well as fitting puzzle-pieces. No one can win the Presidency without winning the South. A Thompson, Huckabee, Barbour, or Jindal is a necessity for him. The kind of executive ability that Romney exemplified is to be found only in another successful governor.

McCain is very old for the Executive office, and his stint in the Hanoi Hilton has added more years. His own staff constantly assures us that his candidacy is only for a four-year term - so his VP is very important

Jindal would energize his campaign like no other person could. Can anyone imagine Vice-Presidential debates with Jindal against Hillary, Obama, or Edwards? It is to laugh!

I really like Haley Barbour, because of his bulldog qualities, but think Jindal is the perfect fit: son of an immigrant family, devout Christian, Classic Liberal ideals, handsome, and dark skinned. He may not have been "Down for the Struggle", but he has all the other qualities.

Jindal is great, but he has no experience. We can't have that.

Jindal, an interesting idea, exemplary fellow and a good conservative. But I think it would be better for him to run later. He needs more national recognition, I think.
Jefferson: I place economy among the first and important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our choice between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy.

Excellent point Bill! PLUS Osama Obama is a US Senator, which is not the best resume enhancement. Jindal is a Real live Governor of a state.
