Pelosi calls Iraq Surge a failure
#1
Pelosi Wrote:...This is a failure. The troops have succeeded, God bless them. We owe them the greatest debt of gratitude for their sacrifice, their patriotism, and for their courage and to their families as well.

“But they deserve better than the policy of a war without end, a war that could be 20 years or longer. And Secretary Gates just testified in the last 24 hours to Congress that this next year in Iraq and Afghanistan are going to cost $170 billion.

“Afghanistan is not settled because the president took his eye off the ball and took the full attention that should have been in Afghanistan, and shifted some of that to Iraq, a war without end, without a plan, without a reason to go in, without a plan to win, without a strategy to leave. This is a disaster … we cannot perpetuate.”

Pelosi thinks she is positioning her candidates against McCain. The Dems with Pelosi and Reid are surely the most poorly led party in living memory.

This reminds me of my late uncle's kitchen wall plaque years ago. The plaque stated, "Behind every successful man stands a woman,.....telling him he's is wrong!" I could never understand why any man would tollerate that type of mate.

I wonder what Queen Nancy's husband is like? Is he totally emasculated? I'm curious.

Incidentially, I wonder if she has bothered to read this article.

Al-Qaeda leaders admit: 'We are in crisis. There is panic and fear'

The thing is,if Islamic radicalism exists 100 years from now,we NEED to have war in Islamic states. WHY THE RUSH to leave anyway?

Until the radicalism is eschewed by the vast huge majority(95%) the radicals must be fought and it is deleterious to their world and positive to our world to kill them in their lands.

It causes the non radical to take OUR side, look at the recent Pakistani poll, for the first time we see Bin Laden losing esteem, obviously because the jihad has spread into Pakistan and massacred lots of innocents lately.

We will have war until the radicals are bereft of succor, let us have it always in their lands,I do not want our troops "out" of any Muslims state until the locals are good enough to crush this vermin once this vermin has been attarcted to the battle, such as Pakistan,Afghanistan,Iraq and now Somalia.
