'Milestone' stem cell advance reported.
#21
And here is another call for giving up even the pretense of using fetal stem cells. Funny that you no longer hear the war cry over the issue, not that there are so many successes from other means.

And wonder of wonders: there is no government subsity there either. Surprise! Surprise! 8)

Ironically for the left, it could be that the skin stem cells might never have been discovered if Bush had not declined government support of fetal stem cells. It appears that these stem cells are vastly more appropriate for therapy than fetal stem cells, because they can be taken from the patients own body.
Jefferson: I place economy among the first and important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our choice between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy.

Yes, that is really neat,......unless you are pro-abortion. Now they have to find another reason for limiting their population. 8)

They have found another reason for limiting their population. It appeared on this board: reducing ones carbon footprint by not having offspring. I hope the press jumps on this, because then we will have not only the Roe effect, but the Carbon Footprint effect reducing the offspring of the left.

Jt, I like that 'carbon footprint' thing. It's real cute, and a nice attention getter. Wink1 S2
