Al Franken is a homophobe

I wonder if the homosexuals here on the forum are going to condemn Al Franken. Al Franken stated he disliked homosexual and stated he was glad a homosexual was killed in Philadelphia. Where is the outrage in the MSM? This piece of crap wants to be a United States Senator? So basically he wants to stop us from banning gay marriage but killing homosexuals is fine with Al Frankenstein.

Could you imagine if this were a conservative? It would be all over the MSM. The media would dig up all the dirt and look into the private life of the conservative. Congress would be conducting hearings and democrats would label all conservatives as homophobes.

I may believe homosexuality is an abomination but that is for God to sort. I just don't want them imposing their bizarreness on the country. Franken supports their murder.

The liberals will probably call it a joke as they usually do. "Oh no he wasn't serious" bla bla bla

Yes, heaven forbid we assume that a professional comedian working in his office on a comedy sketch wasn't setting forth a serious political position in an interview conducted abou this work as a comedian.

Professional comedian? The guy is probably running for Senate. That comment was made recently, he didn't say the homophobic thing back in the day when he was pitching a comedy sketch.

Recently, Saves the Day? The byline is 1976. Chevy Chase, not quite ready for prime time. 1976, check your sundial.

Gosh, I was voting straight Republican in 1976. I've changed at least one opinion since then. And yes, he was talking to a reporter about his life as a comedy writer, saying outrageous things such as "drop out of Harvard."

Nice try, but no cigar, not even a cigar wrapper, Indy.

In fact, I've changed my opinion about homosexuality since 1976. What a long, strange trip it's been.
I'm often wrong. But I'm not always wrong!

SO he was, but do you deny that it is just such things, said as youths and about things totally unreelated to politics, that can and often do cuase people to fail in pursuit of public office?

Is it right to hold him to the quote? NO, but both sides do it, its just politics as ussual.

He said he was glad a human being was killed. I as a traditionalist believe homosexuality is a disorder created by the devil to destroy a human being. I believe practicing it is a sin. I believe society should not reward or subsidize it as a behavior or institution.

However I condemn all people who would kill a human being for being a homosexual. That is something for God to deal with and for the said homosexual to fix with God. I see no logical reason to hate them. Short of fear of a drop the soap moment.

Perhaps Franken's expression is out of fear. He fears gays are coming for him. Maybe he wishes to kill a portion of himself. Wink1 I'm just speculating here, as far as we know he is a happily straight man. Well half of a man, he is a socialist after all. Wink1
