Quote:Facebook and Google accused of ‘secret deal’ to carve up ad empire

Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg and his counterpart at Google, CEO Sundar Pichai, secretly struck a deal in 2018 to carve up the digital advertising market between the two tech giants, according to newly revealed allegations from top state law-enforcement officials.

Previously, it was reported that the deal was signed by Zuckerberg’s No. 2, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who moved over to the social network after a stint heading up Google’s online ad sales team, according to the allegations in a lawsuit by a group of state attorneys general.

But according to newly unredacted court filings, Zuckerberg and Pichai also signed off on the backroom deal in 2018, which allegedly guaranteed Meta subsidiary Facebook would both bid in — and win — a fixed percentage of ad auctions, according to court papers.

Yeah, the self-interest of the Leftist Big Tech bosses is not a surprise. It is such a shame that those with the power which they fell into have so little strength to recognize the disinformation and ego that binds them.

It's a great excuse for the government to force the break-up of both companies.

“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.“
Benjamin Franklin.

The masters of the universe will fade. I am convinced only 48% of the population truly matters anymore. Question is if I am correct, are more voting themselves money now than earning it as Ben foresaw? I believe the majority are now in the cart, drug attics, ignorant suburban moms, or illegals. New platforms like rumble, Parlor, etc. will eventually supplant the name-sayers because reality now demands it. The doers that matter and work for wealth and spend have realized, kicking and screaming through addiction, that the masters are not our masters. I still believe that American ideals are superior and will always invigorate and encourage individual greatness. We are all individuals with unique ideas and drive. The United States of America is about to enter a new Patriotic Social decade.

No just the United States, Canada will as well. Have you watch anything regarding the Canadian truck convoy to Ottawa. The convoy is now about 50 miles long, Trudeau will have the choice to either return the rights and freedom we are guaranteed by the Charter or watch the country go into a complete lockdown.

Like it or not, both the US and Canada are pretty much locked into a semi-united system, and it is going to be interesting to see the outcome. If the US citizenry can keep from falling hook, line and sinker, into the Collectivist mentality, the outcome will continue to move forward.

One thing worth knowing is that the future of Canada,...and Alaska as well, is going to be stymied by the upcoming chapter of this Pleistocene Ice Age that has been around for 2.58 million years. Once the ice sheets move south, introducing the next glaciation phase, Canada will almost 100% be under ice. The Canadian population will have only one practical place to move, with the integration being very easy.

Not sure when the ice sheets will begin moving south, but it will not be all that long. This interglacial will be coming to an abrupt end, and its not going to be pretty. I believe this is one of the reasons why Russia and China are so interested in the African continent. They know they are going to be in a heap of trouble as a result.

Too true John. We are way beyond the cyclical cycle that created the Great Lakes after the ice age melted. History realized is never convenient for those seeking tax payer subsidized grants. I think it takes 25 years before idiots realize they are following idiots. It’s my thoughts, but I’m pretty sure that is the scientific cycle for idiots.

What will happen to Central America and Mexico when the Pleistocene Ice Age returns? The Canadian population should reach 40 Million shortly. Seventy-five million Canadians moving south within the next 50 years will certainly encourage migration into Central America, Mexico and possibly northern South America. This will probably result in major conflicts the Hispanic peoples will certainly lose.

Except that China is now purchasing ownership  of equatorial land. Moving into areas you don't own is different than just moving to your own winter housing and using your own farm acres to send up north.

You guys keep talking about the next ice age as if it is past due. Y’all must be flat Earthers. Everybody with a pending grant knows that global warming is tomorrow. Science is god now, unless you think the scientific theory matters…if you do you are a a knuckle dragging a hole. Stop this blasphemy now! If you don’t the globalist will call you a January 6’er

I was being a smart ass. Lack of responses made me think maybe my sarcasm was misinterpreted.

No, you are just caught in a vacuum. John is without a computer, and the forum has slowed quite a bit. There is general hopelessness in the lack of actual penalties for political felons if they wear blue ties.
