Disgusting People
#1
I know that there are a number of truly disgusting human beings around today.  But there is one who I have found to be at the very top of the cesspool, which is Washington DC.  And that person, to my thinking is none other than Chuck Shumer.  He just looks Evil and Disgusting to behold.

I've carried this around for many years now, but for some reason, I just can't let it simmer from within, any longer.  I absolutely despise this 'so called' person, and consider him an insult to my Jewish heritage.  How anyone could vote for this poltroon completely escapes me.  S18

Here is his latest adventure in underhanded, and hateful behaviour.

Mitch McConnell did his usual thing about how outraged he was for what Schumer did.  It has been shown that Schumer's actions would legally constitute a threat, and a felony.  But will the Republicans actually grow a spine and take this to the limit?

Somehow, I highly suspect not, because moral courage requires effort and, well....courage, right?

Gutfeld on Chuck Schumer's 'threat'

My personal disdain for Schumer dates back to the end of Bush 43's term, when he wanted to sabotage the economy to blame it on the Republicans to get Obama elected. This is the point at which Hannity proclaimed that Journalism died. He wrote a letter which literally broke the law and claimed that IndyMac had gone bankrupt, when it hadn't. He sent the letter to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of Thrift Supervision, and just like Schiff with his impeachment committee, lied to ensure it would hurt investors. In Schiff's case, it was aimed at hurting Bush. In Schumer's case, it was aimed at investors - and at me. His letter went farther than he thought it would, and destroyed the economy. Instead of apologizing for what the Democrats did, they blamed Bush for causing all the investors to back out of commitments to major projects across the country. For me and my family, conflated by the Democrat nominee's speech about "stay-cationing" in your own backyard and raising the price of fuel to make tourism too expensive, it shut down all construction in Las Vegas. The 4.8 Billion-dollar Echelon Project, owned by Boyd Gaming, shut down overnight. All of their other projects closed as well, because Dubai World (their major investor) backed out after the Schumer letter.

When Echelon closed down, all the other casino owners stopped their projects as well. We had two Boyd projects going through our books for Madison-Grace at the time. Echelon's main Construction Manager was Tishman, which stopped thousands of workmen from getting paychecks, hence walking away from their mortgage contracts and leases. Vegas was probably the greatest construction area in the country. and when it went under, the unintended consequences destroyed the Real Estate market and the construction industry. ...All to cause a downturn the Dems could use as a weapon. Schumer did that and never felt any guilt over it. I'm sure they all high-fived over getting the media to blame Bush, and was also the inspiration of the Obama motto of "never letting a catastrophe go to waste."
