Carnac says...

Remember when Johnny Carson's Swami explained the news of the day? He'd hold up an envelope to his head and foretell the answer to what it had sealed inside. Johnny was a semi-professional magician and this envelope trick was a comical takeoff of an old magician's trick - it may be the simplest one of all. The trick, of course, was to have an accomplice who gave a question that the magician knew, and then collect all the questions in sealed envelopes, with the accomplice's envelope on the bottom. The Swami gives an answer to the accomplice's one first, then opens the top letter to confirm what the accomplice wrote,  but actually reading the next one, to which he can answer and shock the supposedly still hidden questioner..

Foretelling the answers is not always a magician's trick. We can all give it a try, just remember only the questions are hidden, the answers are from your own intelligence and creativity. I present this in this manner to expose a political staple. The questions are always not what one is really asking.

For instance, trying to impeach Trump, when Biden actually did what they accuse Trump of doing, is a sleight of hand, trying to distract and disinform. The answer, to me, seems it should be more about giving good answers rather than accepting trickery. Dershowitz was erudite and thorough in explaining why no victims means no crimes. The whole impeachment approach by the House Managers was about not looking at the man behind the curtain. Bolton is just a rabbit in a tophat.

Until the next election, the Democrats will wiggle the fingers on one hand, while the other hand stacks the deck.

Its "Political Projection". Its an old political art form.
