Woke, or just Broke?
#1
Recent developments with China and the NBA are events that should enlighten all that love to embrace the social side of politics. No Burn felt here, nor should anyone that is educated with historical realities. I ask those that are woke on this forum to enlighten me on why China should be embraced. I challenge those that are woke to convince me why China needs a bended knee. Please send responses and educate me woke warriors.

I think everyone here thinks the same way you do on this.  Those companies that refuse to move back to the US should be looking at other places to invest, before all this catches up with them.  I'll bet Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, and others would be more than happy to accommodate them.  And they all are opposed to PRC.

Those "woke" warriors won't respond. Their real fear is the PC crowd who will give them bad press for non-PC views - but that's the same for all things. The NBA may be worse than other venues because of hypocritical racism and victimology. There are many hangers-on and "posses" who surround Millionaire minority athletes and fill their heads with nonsense.

I think the silent majority exists. I think the silent majority is pissed off by the woke folk that are a joke. The silent majority doesn’t answer their phones when random by design pollers call. I know I don’t, but lately I am tempted to answer all and every random call to my landline for shits and giggles.

You could be right there. As for the phone calls, I've gotten less phone calls from strangers. If the caller doesn't have a familiar name I don't answer. If they don't leave a message that I like, I just block the phone number. I counted the number of blocked numbers on my phone day before yesterday, and I had well over 200 blocked calls. S22

So, i wonder in today’s age how any poll carries an ounce of weight. Nobody takes those calls, ever. it literally comes up as “potential Spam”.

Polls in general can offer great information, but political polls are a whole different thing. The trend has been to stop answering phone polls because they never stop. The more one answers polls, the more one gets dialed in as a "good" polling target. If you want to influence the results, then an answerer may become a targeted voice.

You can tell by the questions whether a poll is legitimate or partisan. That means a partisan answerer is not going to answer believably. Limbaugh commented on "Operation Chaos" when Hillary ran against Bernie. The idea was to screw with the votes in opposition primaries in favor of the most beatable opponent. Same thing with polls, whether calls or exit polls; No one seems to trust pollsters or the media any more.

I just put a "Call Block" on every number that is used for such things. I have over two hundred blocks, and it sure is great to now get almost zero of these calls.
