He won't be doing it again, now to get more newspapers to drop him.
The true purpose of democracy is not to select the best leaders — a clearly debatable obligation — but to facilitate the prompt and peaceful removal of obviously bad ones.

I did a search for the cartoon, on the internet, but couldn't find out which day the cartoon aired, or what it really said. Banghead

Oh, that wasn't there within the same day's cartoon that was published on a couple of sites. It must have been removed due to the outcry.

His career as a syndicated cartoonist is probably over.

I was listening somewhere earlier today, and all this came up. But the story continued and it may well be that someone who handles the artist's graphics production may have inserted the remark into the cartoon. If so, whoever did this should be shown the door.
