The China Confrontation
#1
I believe we will be seeing many more confrontations such as this in the future.

China Has Withheld Samples of a Dangerous Flu Virus

This is the Real Enemy, and we had better learn that PRC has the will and resources to be our greatest threat this century. Not Russia.

Oh Trump is getting reactions. Russia, Turkey, China and if we don't watch our "allies" all are going to be working together against us at various points. Read where Russia and China are going to start military exercises together.

That dollar reserve currency thing is under attack by these states. I don't understand it, but, I have been told we lose that and we lose a ton of economics with it.

And speaking about the Russia-China connection, here is an article that parallels my concern about just who our Real Enemy is. Remember the Trump-Putin meeting? I wonder what they discussed? Perhaps the China discussion was paramount. And perhaps this is why The Donald is going "quiet" with Putin. Spiteful

12-Sep-18 World View -- Russia's 'strategic alliance' with China evokes memories of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact

A "Must Read" article, overlooking some spelling mistakes. I honestly believe that if there is going to be a war with nuclear exchanges, a war between Russia and China will be the one.

Here is yet one more example of China's determination to be the ruler of the planet. And unlike Russia, it involves far more than military might. The biggest weapons will almost certainly be that of 'technology', and PRC is going 'Full Monty' toward achieving that dominance. Here is one example that really is a Must Read if one is to fully understand the danger China possesses, not just to the US, but to the world.

Quote:How arrest of Chinese ‘princess’ exposes regime’s world domination plot

Huawei stands in the same relationship to the Chinese Communist Party as German steelmaker Alfried Krupp did to Germany’s National Socialists in the days leading up to WWII.

Just as Germany’s leading supplier of armaments basically became an arm of the Nazi machine after war broke out, so is China’s leading hi-tech company an essential element of the party’s cold war plan to dominate the world of the future.

As far as “Princess” Meng is concerned, I expect that she will be found guilty of committing bank fraud, ordered to pay a fine, and then released. Even a billion dollar fine would be chump change for a seventy-five-billion-dollar corporation like Huawei.

The real payoff of her arrest lies elsewhere. It has exposed the massive campaign of espionage that Huawei is carrying out around the world at the behest of the Party. It has revealed how that Party dreams of a new world order in which China, not America, is dominant.

The two Chinese characters that make up Huawei’s name literally mean, “To Serve China.” That’s clear enough, isn’t it?

Just like Krupps of Nazi Germany, which produced weapons for world domination, Huawei is using technology to accomplish the same thing. But the later has far more dangerous implications and Big Brother dangers.

I have made a decision of late that I am going to follow. I am not ever going to purchase an electronic device that deals with communication, which was produced in China. That negates a majority of items out there, and my current smart phone was made in China. But in a few months, I will almost certainly be purchasing a Samsung replacement. Unless there are any Apple devices not made in China, I'll probably never own anything that has "Apple" on it either. Stirthepot

Perhaps the funniest thing I've seen this week.

Of course this is accurate.  And Boeing and Intel and many others stand in the exact same relation to the Entity Regime, or Gasprom to the Russian government etc, etc.   Quite natural.  National corporations always advance the needs of their states, directly and indirectly (Huawei -- by bringing tax revenue and advancing the technological level in China),... while multinational corporations prefer to advance the globalist agenda.

The author is so indoctrinated in the concept of the US exclusivity (incidentally, borrowed from the Nazis all right) that he fails to see that China is building Pax Cinica in almost the same way as the US built Pax Americana .. only difference is that the Chinese do not resort to wars and genocides.

I utterly fail to understand why Pax Americana is a good thing and Pax Cinica is not? Oh yeah, US exclusivity thesis yet again S6

As for

Quote:As far as “Princess” Meng is concerned...

hostage-taking, simply this. Mafia style, and in line with Trump's background and Bolton's previous behavior.

Also, rather stupid thing to do.

1) Trump demonstrated that the US is a basically an over-sized organized criminal group.
2) By talking to the Chinese to negotiate the current armistice and at the same time arresting her, Trump sent a clear message of not being a trustworthy partner.

3) So far, China arrested three Canadians in retaliation, they will do more.  They will not pay the ransom, but will likely take further steps, like arrest some Apple official -- this time an American. The Meng's value to China is incidentally limited, but a Martyred Meng is immensely helpful long-term.

I have a feeling that the US is in a panic mode and becoming totally irrational.  With all the wars being lost and economy collapsing ...  taking hostages .. LOL.
