Flynn's Ouster, Trump & Fighting The System
#41
Who knows what the heck is going on? ... but this caught my eye ...

Quote:... and cautioning against ripping up the nuclear agreement with Iran negotiated by President Barack Obama without a strategy for what comes next.

... if it's go slow and get it right, that's probably wise ... and would explain why he's getting push back from the impatient.  But it could be something else ... again, who knows?

Quote:...  its not right to leave him dangling on a string and discarded so casually.

Right or not right ... if he did something stupid, particularly with respect to Turkey, he's probably Mueller fodder.  It's a shame [as I really think he would have held Iran to task] and a total double standard as those in the Obama administration or the Clintons would have gotten a total free pass on all sorts of stupid irresponsible sh*t.   I don't want to condemn the guy, but it really looks like he should have been a lot smarter and realized that the Trump Administration is a totally different game. If he survives after going under Mueller's wheels, the guy will be owed a huge apology ... and I hope that happens. If he's "re-rehabilitated" that would be great. But it's more likely he's be the next Scooter Libby. I hope he has really good lawyers. If Mueller can't T-bone Trump directly he'll be looking for all the squished bugs on the windshield that he can get.

Glenn Rynolds is probably discussing the likely route General Flynn will take when he appears in court next.

Former Judge: If General Flynn Was Not Aware Strzok Was Removed for Bias – Case Can Be Dismissed Due to Giglio Violation

Quote:The Giglio versus United States case: is a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court held that the prosecution’s failure to inform the jury that a witness had been promised not to be prosecuted in exchange for his testimony was a failure to fulfill the duty to present all material evidence to the jury, and constituted a violation of due process, requiring a new trial.
