Trumpisms, Flubs, Screwups, & just plain.......

It's all interlocking, but usefully, fixing some things help fix other problems. Labor costs is always brought up as insurmountable to doing business, but it really is a small faction of problems. Cost of doing business dwarfs labor.

Trump border 'wall' to cost $21.6 billion

That's more than what americans are saving every year by hiring latinos for less than 30$ an hour.

Jobless claims are at 47 years lows, the DOW hit new records, exports are booming... but you must build a wall with Mexico and barr chinese goods because they steal US jobs.

But wait, weren't they just headed out on a nice honeymoon? If so, it may be over before it even reached the interstate. Spiteful

I don't think they will break up on their honeymoon night, but wierd reactions from this unusual POTUS will puuzzle Putin and disturb the negociation basis.

Putin thought that he was offering a great deal to the US, expecting something big in return, by extending the START treaty, something every US president have ever sought from Russia since Reagan,... and Trump flatly rpelies that he doesn't want that START treaty on the basis that it was a bad idea from Obama.

IMO Putin, who has dealt with 3 or 4 US presidents before Trump must have been lost for a moment, not knowing what to say and wondering to whom he was talking...

This has got to be one of the worst mistakes The Donald is making since deciding to run for president. Sorry Patrick, but Sessions has put himself on the line before all others did. On this The Donald should keep his mouth/finger in place and not make a fool of himself.

Gingrich: Big mistake to move forward without Sessions

Twofer.

It all depends if Sessions is actively avoiding going after Hillary or other Dems who deserve imprisonment.

I know Cruz and Trey Gowdy have said they didn't want the job, but would they answer the call if Trump really needed them, and they learned that Sessions would not go forward and do what is needed?

Second question has to be, why hasn't Sessions gone after any Dems?

Actually, I tend to agree with Rush on this.  He thinks that this is all a ruse, meant to confuse the other side and make,........what was it Patrick called Sessions: "Dumb Redneck"? Something like that. Anyway, designed to make the other side, who have savaged Sessions, suddenly praise and gush with pride over him. Now that they have made him into a saint, they will be thoroughly boxed into a corner.

Trump is turning out to be the Ultimate Outsider, playing all the DC Insiders like a finely tuned violin, it seems. S13

I heard Rush today, and the idea that the whole Sessions attacks are just put-up jobs to let the Left rehabilitate him before he goes after them sounds ingenuous.

I also note that no one at Fox or any other network has picked up on this. How can this be, when Rush is quoted all over the ether? Could it be some are playing to the tactic?

John,

Sessions is a hateful, anti constitutional, anachronistic, red neck. What the hell is it about that particular man that turns you on? Seriously?

He's a GD tyrant at heart and deserves what Thomas Jefferson wrote tyrants deserved. He would have been arrested and shot in 1783. The fact he is popular with you is weird.

Have you studied on his anti marijuana war on steroids?

Have you read about his asset confiscation rules? You used to bitch against tyrants like this, what has happened to you?

What has this tyrant done that enamors him to you that 1,000,000 other lawyers could not manage properly? If he walked in my house, I'd call the cops and that's if I was thinking about doing what Christ wants me to do, otherwise I'd spit in his face and dare him to do something about it.

He doesn't turn me on Patrick.  Further more, his drug policy AND Asset Forfeiture policy is crazy.   Fortunately, there is not much he can constitutionally do about them short of breaking constitutional law.  At this point he is pretty much all talk, and its not at the top of things he is doing right now.

And where do you keep coming up with him being "hateful" all the time. Is he spouting hell fire and damnation on drugs like a Southern Baptist country preacher?

Its the same thing as with Trump and his implied Protectionist policy, including tariffs.  The minute he starts trying to play the Protectionist game, is the minute I raise holy hell with him.   I'm a free trader, just as I believe in Responsible Individualism, and Individual Liberty.  When/if Sessions tries to thwart the individual states in their marijuana laws, I will be on the state's side of the issue.  I'm just not going to play the part of "Chicken Little", that's all.

If you're at ease with his attack on private property rights just so you don't become chicken little, what are you going to get on the red neck for?

Our property is not safe with this red neck holding power.

I'm always on the lookout for the loss of one's Liberties. They haven't happened yet. But my biggest concern for the moment is this protective tariff threat that is beginning to materialize. Japan today put a protective tariff on certain beef imported from the US. It's the result of threats made by Trump on his Protectionist promises. If this starts becoming a tit for tat tariff game, it could prove to be a retake of the 1930s, and that would have terrible results.
