Windows 10
#41
John L -

The "Keep it but make some changes" section of that article is great.

Arguably, whether you like it or not, Windows 10 is the best Windows version so far. None have been perfect, which explains the changes.

The article starts by pointing out that many are unhappy with the Win10 upgrade methodology, a reasonable complaint. However, that upgrade "mess" and whether Win10 is a good version of Windows are two entirely different discussions.
I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

I never had any problem with w10 after more than one year with it. I don't know if it's perfect or not, I don't care.

Fred, I haven't had a problem with it either. I have Win 10 on at least two of my computers. Its ok.

But after Windows 98, XP, and Win7, I have established a kind of rhythm that works in my subconscious. Now I not only have to change gears, but use a different type of automobile. I feel like a fish slightly out of water. S6

I'm more qnnoyed by the changes they make on so many websites, than by w10 to be honnest. Now you can't open a webpage without half of it being covered by a request to accept cookies...
