Disaster Addiction And Global Warming

I remember that one too. I think there was also a Russian ship that was stuck in the upper reaches of Canada that also had to be rescued by an icebreaker. I believe it was in late summer, or something like that.

Yeah, and its a total waste because it doesn't produce anything useful. The only people who profit from all this schist are the world's foremost "Schist Shovelers"...............G-d Damed Bureaucrats. Spiteful

Give those same "GD" Bureaucrats a few more years, and they will be explaining the cooling climate as being caused by Global Warming. S18

It makes you wonder just when people are really going to start "Getting It". How long is it going to take? I think I will start linking to articles that are trying to alert the overall population.

Some of these 'geniuses' will twist themselves into pretzel knots, just to make a point, no matter how wrong, dishonest, and unrealistic it could ever be. They don't realize how stupid they look. S13

As usual, she didn't directly answer any of his questions. Instead, she fell back on the well-used threat that MacDaddy's administration used with this 'fake science'. S18

By George, I learned a new phrase a few minutes ago: Combat Shopping.  What will they think up next?  Stirthepot

Quote:'Combat shopping': Mayhem at Seattle stores as shoppers clear shelves pre-snow storm

"You would think the Zombie Apocalypse has happened with the line lengths at Fred Meyer," wrote Nicole Kalin on Twitter. "You want fresh produce? Your options are grapes or shallots. You want protein? Good luck finding an egg. If we don't get at least 12 inches of snow over the next two days, I'm suing."

Kalin threaded her experience at Freddie's, noting one brave man who stood in line with just one item: A bouquet of flowers.

"Baskets are literally being abandoned in the middle of aisles. Children are crying. There's not a cart to go by that isn't full- you're not waiting in these checkout lines for anything less than 100 items (unless you're the flower guy) Express checkout? It's been taken over," she went on.

"Someone just walked past me on the phone saying 'sorry- I'm in a war zone. It's combat shopping and combat parking at Freddie's. Only the strong survive.'"

Needless to say, a lot of people will be very upset if the snowpocalypse doesn't materialize.

I think she knows already.

The guy who tried to interview her is known for interviewing students at climate marches and sometimes their teachers too. He ask 4 or 5 basic questions such as "Do you the proportion of CO2 in the atmosphere?"
All these people show that they don't know anything about the climate and the atmosphere and give ridiculous answers. They are very confused when he tells them the exact numbers.
Unfortunately these videos exist only in french.

Oh, and one more thing: The video I posted above is about to be censored by YouTube... after they received complains.

Reading the original post in this thread, the idea of humankind needing monsters that allows charlatans to steer weirdness to help their personal sideshow does make sense. However; the monsters I see are the charlatans, themselves. One monster was the famous "Cardiff Giant" a hoax perpetrated by an Atheist:

George Hull paid for the fake giant to be carved out of rock and weathered to look real. P.T. Barnum offered $50,000 for it to display in his circus sideshow. He couldn't buy it so made a fake of his own, and called the original giant a fake. As the newspapers reported Barnum's version of the story, David Hannum was quoted as saying, "There's a sucker born every minute" in reference to spectators paying to see Barnum's giant.

In other words, charlatans will exist so long as they see a profit. ...And their stooges will always accept what they have been taught, and that fake story will be accepted so long as it is successfully reinforced.

Hence we have the genesis of the Democrat Party.
