Charter is buying our cable service, Bright House. Going to be good or bad?
From the WSJ
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
I don't know anything about them "V". But Bright House is making a good move, in my opinion. The technology is rapidly evolving and I suspect cable TV is going to be left behind. The Internet, along with Wireless, are the next level up.
I'm getting ready to shed my satellite TV, and replace it with Roku. It has three models, and is the number one choice for this. It also works on Internet and also wireless. Online streaming video is growing up fast, and is not quite mature yet, but now's the time to climb on board. I don't even watch TV anymore, because I can enjoy my desktop computer far better. It offers far more flexibility and with a 27" monitor abut two feet from me, I get a great screen picture that I would have to shell out big bucks for if it was a TV.
Your article, which I just read, says pretty much the same thing. And here's this: Cord cutting 101: How to quit cable for online streaming video
