Global cooling, er, I mean warming, er, wait...PT. 2
The reason is simple. The governmental power that comes with victimization. When Gorbachev stepped down and accepted the UN role as bureaucrat in charge of the environment, he was largely accorded to have moved to another powerful position. Look at Gore. He is far richer now than when he was a tobacco tycoon. China is anticipating a 150-year loss of their food "grow zones" and investing in equatorial grow zones.

Instead of farsight, the crooks are lying to us.
The 2019-2020 Farmers Almanac is out and it looks like we have a "Polar Coaster" ahead, thanks to Global COOLING.

Was that map made by a pre-schooler? Areas are differentiated by "Average Precipitation" in spots, and "Normal Precipitation" in another. "Wintry Mix" in one spot, and "Wet and White" in another. The "precise" terminology is breath-taking.
Bill, you'll have to ask them. Spiteful

Fred, this is for you.

"Central and Western Europe will kick off meteorological Autumn with a brutal cold blast, with temperatures in some regions forecast to plunge as much as 16C below average for the time of year.

The anomalous cold will infect the majority of Europe this week, with Central nations such as France, Germany and Poland being worst hit, along with SW countries like Spain and Portugal.

In fact, the cold will persist well-into next week for Italy, France, Spain and Portugal where temps as much as 16C below-average will ravage the regions, according to latest GFS runs:"

Interesting post from WUWT:

1. The Earth only warmed 0.78degree C since the start of the industrial age.
Pg. 209 of

2. Man only emits 6% of total annual CO2 emissions (Nature emits 94%).
Add the numbers on this NASA diagram:

3. CO2 only causes 26-32% of the greenhouse effect. (H2O is 60-75%) (based on Table 3 of: Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society Vol. 78, No. 2, February 1997 )

4. We do not have enough data to say that hurricanes have increased.
pg 178 of

5. We do not have enough data to say that storms have increased.
pg 178 of

6. Sea level has been rising for centuries, it HAS NOT RISEN FASTER recently.
Page 306 of

7. There is little, if any, global scale changes in the magnitude or frequency of floods.
pg 230 of

8. Confidence is low for a global-scale observed trend in drought or dryness
pg 178 of

9. Long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.
Page 774 of (IPCC third Assessment Report (2001) Section, page 774)

This shows that there is nothing unusual about our climate and thus NOTHING to blame on CO2. That means NO AMOUNT OF CO2 action will affect the climate.

Supports something I've been saying for awhile:

Science shows there is uncertainty regarding how much we've warmed since the end of the LIA, there is uncertainty on how much warming atmospheric carbon dioxide may cause, and there is uncertainty regarding how much of the atmospheric carbon dioxide is caused by human activity.

Items 1, 2, and 3 are all amounts that are not specific and have a "+/-" not addressed or are estimated.
I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!
Quote:This mysterious Arctic tree stump could reveal ancient secrets

A hunting party in Nunavut stumbled upon a rare sight: a tree stump poking out of the permafrost. However it got there, the wood will likely tell scientists secrets of the distant past
Oct 29, 2019

His hunting party had set out under a muted sky from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, on the day Naikak Hakongak spotted something almost never seen on the Arctic tundra.
The group of six, some with rifles slung over their backs, had been crossing the rocky landscape in a caravan of all-terrain vehicles. Only a skiff of snow covered the ground that first Saturday in October—less than usual for the time of year.
As the terrain grew more hilly, Hakongak’s hopes of spotting caribou rose—the animals were known to run through the area they call Amagalik. Then, as the hunters’ path dipped into marshy lowlands, Hakongak spied what he first thought was a cylindrical rock sticking out of the bog. “I did a quick U-turn and said ‘This is a tree stump!’” the 56-year-old recalls. “My first thought was ‘Wow, this is quite the strange find.’”

More proof of the earth`s climate constantly changing.
The true purpose of democracy is not to select the best leaders — a clearly debatable obligation — but to facilitate the prompt and peaceful removal of obviously bad ones.
