Free Enterprise At Work
Here is a classic example of Free Enterprise providing a service to the public.  And doing what government has been unable to accomplish.   And in Jolly Old England no less.

Getting people to understand exactly why "Capitalism", or "Free Enterprise", really does work is an ever-going education, especially to the young. Here's a great example.

Yaron Brook Confronted a College Student Who Said Capitalism Is Bad for Poor People

Quote:Dr. Yaron Brook, the executive chairman of the Ayn Rand Institute, was giving a lecture at England's University of Exeter when a smug college student asked if it was fair that poor factory workers in Asia are paid just dollars a day. He asserted that capitalism relied on sweatshop workers staying in poverty. Brook went off on him: "You sit here in your cushy middle-class chairs...." He told the student that it isn't slavery that makes the factory workers show up to work, it's an actual desire to improve their lives. He cited South Korea, which was a very poor country before they started building stuff for western nations and is now considered a wealthy society. He said that capitalism is actually the only way to bring people out of poverty, and that the student wasn't caring for the impoverished at all.
