Obama has destroyed the Unions
#1
According to the Washington Examiner, Obama is the worst president for unions...ever. Under his tenure, they are all shrinking. Of course it is probably unintended consequences because he surely never wanted to hurt his base.

Obama's real base is formed of people who are inclined to idealize the tenets of communism, where the rich are deemed automatically guilty of robbing the poor, and therefore should be cannibalized to "redistribute the wealth." While you might think unions would be inclined to favor this kind of thinking, you have to remember that in Lech Walesa's Poland, it was the Solidarity Union that brought down communism. Unionism is a different kind of tyranny than the autocratic tyranny that Obama is really all about. He wants to be the ruler, not the union bosses.

It's mainly because we're not creating jobs.

An odd thing is the DOE is currently in a major union busting mode( has been since 1999). That has intensified in the last 12 months with unique contractural arrangements such that contractors are able to avoid traditional arrangements via sub contracting, etc.

It's really odd, it started under Clinton, continued under Bush and has accelerated under Obama. I would have expected otherwise from the democrats.

I don't think so. I believe it is more a case of Alynski strategy being followed. Communism is universally distrusted and dislike by the public, but redefining what it is, and contaminating Free Enterprise with the failings that actually are part and parcel to Marx and Engels frustrates logic. An honest media is all that is necessary to correct the absurdity - but they are as locked up by the Alynski fraud as the voters.
