The true purpose of democracy is not to select the best leaders — a clearly debatable obligation — but to facilitate the prompt and peaceful removal of obviously bad ones.

Nice video. The ones that do the fast whiteboard drawings seem very effective.

I guess I'll turn off the TV and go for a walk.

Actually I walk about 80 minutes a day with my German Shepard. He's a good dog and stays close. He gets to walk off leash on a trail by my house. There are lots of runty deer in the woods. He knows he can't catch them, so he will jump them but not chase.
