Nothing caused the universe
#1
I had an epiphany recently, a revelation in your religious terms. To understand stuff like evolution has always been easy, but I had no answer to the question how the universe came into existence in the first place. Not anymore. It's perfectly within the known laws of physics, that nothing created the universe.

So, in the beginning was nothing. No matter, no energy, no time, no space.

Then all of a sudden nothing exploded, and behold, the universe existed.

What kind of an epiphany is that? Anyone whose brain registers that as reasonable, needs an MRI.

Seems reasonable to me that cause and effect couldn't exist before time, and that there was no time for a god to exist in. Be proud that a fine documentary like this was made in America.

Really?

Well, now I know why you have been gone from Jane. You have been in the hospital, suffering from memory loss.

I hope you get it back sometime soon. S5

Hawking showed he's still human though. He figured out the universe created and manages itself as Quad shows here, but, he admits he can't figure out the ladies!
