The Brilliant Media Whores: Fake News!
Has anyone noticed that every time CBS news comes on the radio, it prefaces everything by saying "CBS--REAL news by REAL JOURNALISTS." Does anyone believe them? Obviously, they are trying to push back against being called "Fake News" by everyone who keeps up with the actual real news (most often found on Fox News Channel). CBS may not be quite as bad as CNN and MSNBC, but they are not much better. In my opinion, newscasters on Fox News Channel are the only ones who have any right to call themselves professional journalists.

Yeah, we all see that, but the point is relative truth. CBS, and the other Faux News networks have dropping viewership numbers, but for those who still watch them, it is largely all they know. Using purely binary logic, there is truth and falsity. Using the Boolean logic of the media, there are overlapping areas of concern that turn truth into a gray area, as truth can't be observed when the messenger is routinely shot.

Example: A man may be called a murderer, and that claim can destroy him, so long as other media types refuse to mention the "murder" was of weeds in his garden. The reason journalism is so important is because their job is to look at claims and perform the analysis which makes understanding possible. Collusion and sycophancy just clouds all issues and disinforms.

Trump is successful. in order for opposition party members to become relevant, they must slant the good news and taint that news with innuendo. If all a person sees is phony innuendo, then all that person knows comes from that. It's obvious that CBS wants to trade on that, but can they long survive, doing so?
