Dieting and Brain Canibalization

I found this interesting: Dieting forces brain to eat itself, scientists claim. It fort of makes sense too.

I'll tell my fat friends about this. They are always looking for reasons not to loose weight.

Your brain shrinks all by itself when you get past 40; no diet needed.

Evidently those enduring starvation loose lots of muscle mass first. I infer this from photos of starving folks.

The article should read BAD diets not dieting. If you diet properly it can't hurt you.
