Quote:Though it may be hard to swallow, Hoover is convinced that his findings reveal fossil evidence of bacterial life within such meteorites, the remains of living organisms from their parent bodies -- comets, moons and other astral bodies. By extension, the findings suggest we are not alone in the universe, he said.
...
In what he calls âa very simple process,â Dr. Hoover fractured the meteorite stones under a sterile environment before examining the freshly broken surface with the standard tools of the scientist: a scanning-electron microscope and a field emission electron-scanning microscope, which allowed him to search the stoneâs surface for evidence of fossilized remains.
He found the fossilized remains of micro-organisms not so different from ordinary ones found underfoot -- here on earth, that is.
âThe exciting thing is that they are in many cases recognizable and can be associated very closely with the generic species here on earth,â Hoover told FoxNews.com. But not all of them. âThere are some that are just very strange and donât look like anything that Iâve been able to identify, and Iâve shown them to many other experts that have also come up stumped.â

Actual papers.
It is interesting that Cyanobacteria pops up again.
Donno.... the work does seem professional... but I fail to see how one can exclude contamination.. a sample frozen today might not have been a million years ago.

If the universe is only slightly over 6000 years old, then all this hitchhiking of tiny life forms has to be one Huge Hoax. Is it possible that the Creator actually has us inside a tiny space bubble, with the inside walls painted in realistic, minute, detail, giving the mistaken impression that we are in one huge universe?

It seems more likely to me that these microorganism fossils--if that is what they are--give evidence of earth crustal material that was ejected into space in a "splash" effect when meteoroids impacted on the earth. This would explain why some say they have found evidence of terrestrial-like bacterial fossils. Since I would say these meteoroid impacts occurred during the time of the global flood of Genesis, it is to be expected that much of the material that was launched free of earth's gravity into a deep solar orbit, would eventually find its way back here, all within four thousand years or so.

Assuming that these fossils are real and not a recent contamination, it is also possible that they existed in the Chaos before the Creation OR that they were ejected to space during the Flood upheaval.
But we should not dismiss the possibility of a fraud either. Perhaps the prudent course is to decree that this Hoover should stay away from microscopes before something else goes wrong.

good point, ron. that would also explain why the comets are mostly composed of ice, that's water which splashed into outer space. if we ever advance to examine one, i have no doubt, there is frozen tuna in it.
