Local Traffic Reports -how do you rate 'em
Suck in Sarasota.
Had early Thanksgiving/Christmas down in Sarasota/Venice past weekend as my wife has to work on Thanksgiving Day and my mom will be up in Ohio over Christmas.
970 WFLA does great local traffic, if you're a bit south you're on your own as WLSS and other stations suck.
Mom lives in Palmer Ranch. We take off on Clark for 75. As we drive east we see that 75 NB is frozen. I say "damnit" do a u turn take Gant to Proctor then Cattelmen to 75 again and find it moving NB. Get on 75 and up to speed then brick wall 2.0. Half hour for .2 mile to find a jackknifed semi. Find out it was a six mile backup and no one bothered to tell anyone on the radio or WWSB or SSNN. BLAAAAAA!

I AM DRINKING BEER!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
970 WFLA traffic depends on who at the station is doing it.
I've been stuck in traffic on I-275 and 970 says traffic is fine.
Different eyes see different things. Different hearts beat on different strings.
But there are times for you and me when all such things agree.

There is a traffic Ap on my phone that I use. It is pretty accurate. I haven't listened to radio for traffic for years. Also Colorado Department Of Transportation (CDOT) has a 'speeds' selection on their map, shows traffic speeds all over.
