Well I don't think the details of the plan are like that but esentially I agree if the plan were laid out like that - it wouldn't be good for the States. I don't think it is though. Too simplistic. I don';t thhink bilingualism is part of it either. I don't think the NAU has a hope in hell frankly but I believe the idea is simply to formalize and orginaize an already strong economical base. Formalizing the economical 'synergy' as you put it between the three nations.
Personally I think: if it ain't broke don't fix it and this is mostly a reaction to the EU
i don't know what the aveage income in the US is but here I know it's in the $32000 range. Still,like I sayi don't think it translates to buying power. The real economical difference between the US and Canadia is the population base. California has more people (and therefor more workers/taxpayers).
