The end of America, knives are exposed. - Yankeecat - 01-31-2007 Chirac strikes again. Having utterly failed to hobble the U.S. with Kyoto, he now presumes to govern the U.S. by fiat. If ever there was doubt that Kyoto was really a treaty about world govenment and hobbling the U.S., it is finished... http://iht.com/articles/2007/01/31/news/climate.php This proves three things: 1- The europeans are totally delusional as they would be destroyed in any trade war with the U.S.. 2- That their aim is to hobble the U.S. economically while forcing world government run by europeans on us. 3- That Chirac (and those who agree with him) are imbeciles. The U.S. response should be as follows: 1- Any european nation voting for this automatically loses its "Most favored nation" status. 2- If any european nation at all votes for this, the U.S. should immediately leave NATO. 3- The U.S. should invoke a tarriff double the European tarriff on all imports from europe if this is attempted. 4- The U.S. should pass a resolution that it will never under any condition, sign Kyoto. Europe has exposed it's true colors. We should use this as an opportunity to crush them, completely and finally. P.S. - Yankeecat - 01-31-2007 For those of you who think (and have thought) over the years that I am some eccentric ass**** for going on about all this, this has been why. This all has literally been a war waged on the U.S. without any response from us for decades. It is the most serious threat to our national soveriegnty and charachter ever. They have set us up to perfection. You heard it here first. The plan... - Yankeecat - 01-31-2007 Here's how I think it was done... Americans have never understood the depths of hatred held towards the U.S. in many quarters for so many years. Post WWII, the socialists in europe realized they had two enemies, the Communists and the Capitalists. They knew they were too weak, too effeminate culturally, to defeat the Communism, so, they went along with the U.S. hoping all the while that it would become a social democracy like they planned to be. But, as things would have it, they made two miscalculations. First, capitalism did not start to fall of it's own accord. Instead, it prospered and began to present a viable alternative they thought impossible. Second, a fatal flaw appeared in their scheme, which was that Capitalism was out competing and out innovating them, thereby threatening the economic survival of their system. So, several decades ago, whenit became apparent to a number of scientists that the planet was going to be heating up as it always had due to a regular cycle of solar activity. A plan was hatched... the U.S. would be forced to sign a treaty which would ruin it using guilt over supposed carbon emmissions as the lever. But again, another flaw. the U.S. refused to cave in to their pressure. In response, fury and anger were enlisted to apply pressure to the U.S.. Then, when an incompetent U.S. administration provided the opportunity, out comes the dagger. Far fetched, I think not. http://www.sovereignty.net/center/chirac.html http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/01/30/harper-kyoto.html - Independents4Bush - 01-31-2007 We can crush them economically by restructuring ourselves here at home. First we need to reduce the size of the federal government by removing unconstitutional bureaucracies. The 10Th amendment must be enforced. Second we need a flat tax. Third we need to drill for our oil here at home. Then we can put tariffs on their crap. The future. - Yankeecat - 01-31-2007 So here is how it is going to go down. Now, notice the timing. Chirac does this on the day in which: Castro show he's not dead, Chavez get's Pro-Consular powers in Venezuela, the U.S. is at the ebb of it's fortunes in the middle east and in the eyes of the world, the U.S. economy show un-expected strength, a few weeks after Germany proposes a "common market" with the U.S. (good cop, bad cop). There will be an international conference. The U.S. will be isolated and villified. It will be a real circus. Fifth column elements in the U.S. will "suggest" a compromise (remember the Godfather). If the U.S. signs, they have won. If not, the U.S. is villified and attacked economically until we cave or act like evil arrogant violent Americans by trying to defend ourselves. I'm no consipracy freak. I don't believe everyone is in on this. But, I know my history and I never underestimate human nature (I would bet my pension plan that the euro Red/Green Alliance were in some way complicit in 911). Re: The end of America, knives are exposed. - John L - 01-31-2007 Yankeecat Wrote: Again, I agree. The Euros are colossal Idiots, but we knew that already. fortunalely, there are enough there, who could make up a core opposition, and we should encourage them to try to make changes from within. The Euros underlying problem is Collectivism, or as the late Balint Vazsonyi called it, Franco-German Socialism. It is the noose around their collective necks(see Fit', I can use that word without becoming sick. ![]() We should pity them, rather than be angry. They are akin to the crazy uncle, who really needs to be locked up in the basement, until they are willing to seek help. - John L - 01-31-2007 Oh, and speaking of Le Devil, get this. Quote:Chirac Unfazed by Nuclear Iran, Then Backtracks It will be interesting to see if he receives some sweet little PR deal with Tehran when he leaves office. Hard to say, but with the French, nothing is as it should be. U.S. reaction - Yankeecat - 02-01-2007 What we should do is to pass a "population density" tarriff and goods from nations with a higher population density then our own. Who even counts population density in FTA's and trade treaties? Passing ANY tariff would be self-defeating and not a smart idea. It is the worst way to go about fixing problems. |
