Wonder if the recalictrance are from Generals who have become wealthy from Russian royalty fees?

An Indian political view of our elections, different from most, maybe because they live with terrorism and most of us never really have:

I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians did not have their fingers in the flap. You can see the Arjun in action, right here. It's ugly, like the old Centurian, and has some old soviet touches, like the fuel tank on the rear.

But one thing is different, and that is the size of the turret. I would not want to be in ANY Russian tank, and have to be stuck in a tiny vehicle, that is loaded with steel parts sticking out of the turret wall. It's not only dangerous, but totally fatiguing. This one has a pretty big turret, even if it is Butt Ugly.

However, Al-Khalid Tank, is nothing more than warmed over Russian/Soviet. It's probably a piece of crap too. I can see that the turret is as tiny as you can expect from any Russian/Soviet attempt at intimidation, at the expense of the crew. Notice how they have to promote it in the typical Russian/Soviet manner, showing it jumping tall buildings, with a single bound.

Colour me "Not Impressed".
What about the political opinion, did ya check it out?

No, I just checked out the tanks only. Politics is a strange animal, and is not interested in logic. If it really is a much better tank, chances are that it will lose out to the Russians, because there is money involved, and India used to be a proxy of the SSR.
No,the second URL above is about an Indian political view of the USA's election cycle,it's fairly interesting and different from most.

Agreed! He knows which side India's bread is buttered, with regard to Islam.
I agree, the Indians aren't living in delusion like most Americans and Europeans are. They get people killed absolutely daily by communists or Islamic terrorists and have since they became independent.

Note well what the man said, selfishly,he WOULD support Obama because he knows Obama's socialism envy poilicies will reduce USA market shares and that helps others, but the fact Obama is a child mentally is too scary for Indians to make that trade off.

For Europeans ,they are going to love an American idiot sending our GDP to them, but in India it isn't worth it. Bush has done more than enough of that already incidentally,he's presided over a large transfer of US wealth to Europe, but not enough .
