Man, that was a great article. You know, there are a lot of stories out there for future movies to be made. Something like this is a good part of one of those movies.
No kidding,Anthony went into some excellent historical depth here, what a guy.
It's a document that is a perpetual work-in-progress. I posted an earlier version of it back in May, Palladin just posted the 23 June version, and now there is a 5 August revision.

CSIS and Cordesman are solid, reliable sources.
My Dad likes to send me AAR's about Iraq and Afghanistan. I enjoy reading them and seeing how much I agree with (most of which I do, its funny how the boots on the ground see things so similarly).

If you'd like I'd be more than happy to post some of the better ones.

Please do. S1
i thought y'all were talking about the Michael Yon article...

Quote:But that wasn't the whole story. In the Yarmuk neighborhood, only terrorists openly carry AK-47s. The lawyers call this Hostile Intent. The soldiers call this Dead Man Walking.

If they are official military unit AARs, be careful about posting them on an open forum. They are usually at least FOUO and not meant for public release. If its informal stuff, then just ignore my statement.
