Here's a great play on words.

BILL NYE THE SCIENCE LIE
What I've been noticing is the solar output relationship to Climate. In Polizette the Global Warming alarmists are ridiculed based on solar output. What is not connected are sunspots. I thought there was a connection.

Bill, are you just figuring that out? We've been discussing sunspots, i.e. solar output, and its relationship to climate for some time now.

Anyway, I'm glad to see we are all on the same page. S22
No. As I messaged you, Solar output is not the same as Sunspots. They are two different things. My question is how Sunspots affect Solar output.

A globe emits energy spherically 360° in all directions. Do Sunspots cause vector deviation? "They are areas of reduced surface temperature caused by concentrations of magnetic field flux that inhibit convection." Increased Solar output causes cloud making, so if there are no Sunspots, we have less clouds. neh? I've always read that sunspots go with warming, and the lack of them go with cooling. Can't quite grok the physics.

Solar output is nothing more than light from the fusion process going on with our star.  Since our G2 star is very stable, it would keep pumping out light at a constant amount, 360%.  It is the gravitational influence of other bodies, such as the jovian planets, which cause a tugging and stretching effect on the sun.  This is what causes sunspots, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections (CME).  It is also manifested in the sun's movement around the center of the solar system.  Its known as the "Barycenter".  Because of this, the sun does not sit still.

No, you have more clouds.  With less sunspots there is less solar magnetic flux, which would reach out and encircle our magnetic outer ring.  It is this magnetic flux that tends to deflect cosmic rays from entering the atmosphere, where they excite water molecules, which generates more higher cloud cover in the upper atmosphere.

Lack of sunspots = less magnetic flux = more cosmic rays = more cloud covering = more light/heat radiated back into space = cooling planet.

That's why the Edward Maunder, along with his wife, was able to note the correlation of low sunspot activity to Grand Solar Minimums.  He also added to the work of Gustav Spörer, and was able to link between the two.   And its why the Maunder, and Spörer Minimums are named after them.

Remember: Low sunspot activity = cooler climate, not the other way around.  S5
Here is something else that is important and worth noting. Since this reflective cloud covering is generated in the upper atmosphere, where does all of these water molecules originate? These are way up there and reflect the light before it has a chance to heat up the lower atmosphere. And the answer to that is that these molecules come from outer space.

Our planet is constantly bombarded by water, day in and day out. We get at least 13 tons of water entering the atmosphere on a daily basis. And that is where all that upper atmospheric water comes from. I can't find the video, but there is one from orbit showing water entering the atmosphere and dissolving from friction. I wish I could find it, but can't.
I think what answers my question the best is the idea that CME are the cause of heightened Solar activity, and are often found with clusters of sunspots.

You're mixing up 'cause' with 'effect' here.  CMEs are not the cause of heightened solar activity.  They Are the result of heightened solar activity.  The cause of heightened solar activity is almost certainly the result of the gravitational tugging and pulling of the Jovian planets, especially when they are located in such positions to create unusual effect.

The only other thing that could possibly affect the sun so would be a tiny black hole moving moving around, but that would affect other things in the process.
France's Head Frog must think he is being cute by trying to steal away the US's disgruntled Global Warming scientists.  S13

I think this is a great idea! Let them go there and suck on their "Public Titty" instead of ours. S22
Yes... But I don't think many will be awarded the tuition... It's just advertising.
When you call them and ask for more informations, they tell you to look at the website.

Well, maybe 3 scientists will move to France and pose for the prestige of some university. After tax, they will keep less than half of the money.
I wish I had a degree in that discipline, I sure as hell would take up that offer. That's close to US $ 2 million.

You're better off escaping this absolutely worthless country, and going to Belize. Trust me. S5

Professor Willie Soon is one funny fellow. The only thing that hinders his being a great public speaker is his accent. Otherwise, he would be a killer speaker. S22

The Climate Change Hoax, with Professor Willie Soon at Camp Constitution
Well, the politicians, journalists, and environmentalists will ignore Willie Soon not because of his accent but because his facts and logic don't match their beliefs.

They sure as hell won't be able to ignore him much longer. All those record cold temperatures in Canada, along with the snow, and even new snow in the Western states never seem to get reported. But that can only go on just so long. They're going to be beside themselves when we reach the end of this solar cycle, and and the bottom starts dropping out from under all this AGW HorseShit they have been throwing at everybody.

I'm just curious as to how they are going to spin it. Shock

Easy.

They'll just pat themselves on the back and claim that all their efforts paid off.

After all, once one accepts the delusion they don't think they are delusional.

If all the efforts paid off, then we don't need to take the wealth of the "Haves" and redistribute it to the "Have Nots". That will work to everyone's betterment. S22
Here's another thing guaranteed to drive the loony Left bonkers.

Trump to disband beloved progressive government committee

Quote:The panel, aptly named, “Advisory Committee for the Sustained National Climate Assessment,” is a 15-member panel comprised of people from different backgrounds whose purpose was to simplify the findings of the National Climate Assessment for people in and out of the government, according to The Hill.

Ben Friedman, acting administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, informed the committee on Friday that its charter would not be renewed, according to the Washington Post.

The National Climate Assessment was intended to be updated and released every four years, but only three reports have been released since 1990. The next report was due to be released next year.

Former President Barack Obama established the committee in 2015.

Must be just the "Advisory Committee" he is disbanding.
