As Obama's Organizing for Action made its debut, no one in his purportedly Internet-savvy campaign had obtained the corresponding .com, .net, .org or .us sites. In the case of the .net address, a fellow named Derek Bovard had already registered the .net address by the time Obama's team took notice. Bovard has routed his new site to the homepage of the National Rifle Association.

Organizing for Action
Can you make a direct link rather than a general site link?
Isn't the point that the "Organizing for Action" link will lead you to the pro NRA website? Bovard was not necessarily an NRA employee - just someone who made his URL redirect to the NRA.
"Organizing for Action" can't use its URL, it may have to rename its organization.
It's broken now and does not redirect ... instead you get this lame message

Either hacked or highjacked by lawyers. Pity ..
It just took me to the NRA website. Wayne LaPierre and all that!
This is one of the reasons why you take the time and copy the article, placing it here, with the link to buttress/credit it. Now I still haven't the faintest idea what this is about.
Double click Brietbart in the initial post.
John,

Some NRA dude succeeded in screwing up Obama's online campaign organism and it takes you to the NRA site.
I wonder why he is still campaigning? Is he thinking of scrapping the constitution and making a run for a third term?

.org and .com run the lame message. .net redirects. Wonder why they didn't do the same trick for all three? It's still encouraging. The GOP sucked at this kind of thing in the last cycle. The local county affiliate is forming an IT committee. Hopefully the party will get some savvy (on many, MANY different levels). The NRA is busy as hell. I bought a yearly membership as a gift for someone else today on line. I called to try to see when the number would be issued (it's needed for competitive events at certain clubs) ... 4-6 day waiting time. The last time I did this they issued it over the phone.
All Obama grasps is "organizing for campaigning". He doesn't get leadership skills.

He's way more interested in winning a pr contest than governing the nation, IMO.
What's troubling is the fact he hasn't produced a budget in 1400 days and the media remains silent.

That's why they are really the "Whore" Media, because they are whoring for him.

Just common everyday whores, because a prostitute would do a far better job.
