there is more at link, on various subjects, so I'm not putting this on the MidEast thread.

Interestingly, this one is an example of the plugin failing to grab the media...here embed would have been proper.

What link?

Oh, and note - it takes more characters to type "[code]" than it does to type "[url]".

If blip.tv isn't on the list (see the help files) of sites it covers, then it wont' embed.

But fewer than to type [url] or even merely , and this is why I prefer to use [code]. S6

Face it John, mv is quite the rebel.
Why don't you just cut and paste the link, and not even bother with any of the "url" stuff? That will work too.

Michael, you are better than this, by acting like the disgruntled adolescent. We are going to continue using MyBB, and not go back to phpBB. This software is the most popular format out there, and personally I like it far better than the old one, or the new version of phpBB.

Nobody else has any problem with it.

Well, except you wrote this:

Quote:Interestingly, this one is an example of the plugin failing to grab the media...here embed would have been proper.

Which means you knew that the link would work

and all of that typing is much more than as well.

Quote:Nobody else has any problem with it.

Neither do I, I have no problem with typing [code], and I already explained why.

(Yes, JohnWho, I did check whether the plugin works in this case or not.)

So, then, your refusal to leave in a proper link was simply you being a deliberate Hiney .

OK, at least we've got that straight.

I consider it irresponsible to encourage using a buggy feature ([url]); I don't see why you are even concerned about minimal experimentation with it I did, since it did not end up in the post.
This is gay (pardon me, Pixi, but I must).
