Who's that "christian fundamentalist, right-wing extremist" fellow at the bottom of your pictures Qbert? S13

Looks like Q 1, right wing fundies 0. I had been waiting...a rather long time...for this day.

You lead a pretty sad life, then.

Considering the number of privately owned AK-47's in the US, if that was a warning sign that someone was going to go nuts and kill a bunch of people, there wouldn't be anyone left alive in the US. Hell, the entire world would have been wiped out, considering the hundreds of millions of them that have been produced. Hell, I could go tomorrow to a store within twenty minutes of my house and have a choice of five or six different models.

Heck, look at this (the store in question)

J&G Sales - AK Pattern rifles

Oh, man! Look at all the AR-style rifles they have right now...

J&G Sales - AR Pattern rifles for sale

and I see they have the Century CETME with the stainless receiver right now...

I dunno, quite a dashing fellow up there for sure. Nifty rifle, but definately a ban-era weapon. Easily fixed if you wish to do a bit of milling to put a folding stock on it, if not an underfolder more specifically.

I don't see the victory, B5D. Is your asshole clenched in anxious waiting for these things? I think some people are sobby tools at times. I bet that last character is a real serial killer, ready to gun down masses of school children in some poor urban school or a DNC convention. Probably one of those dreaded right-wing veterans that are the big fears according to Napolitano.

I need to check out JG again, I haven't cruised their website for months for fear of emptying my wallet.
there is a possibility to make something good out of this atrocity, just like the fukushima catastrophe which heralded the departure from nucular power. the chance here is to demonize and severly punish gun ownership, and right-wing disposition; in fact to declare a war on gun owners, and the right wing. americans are obsessed with harsh penalties for sexual crimes, and justifiably so considering the trauma a rape causes. the trauma to have a gun pointed at you which can take your life in the blink of an eye is more severe than a rape. tens of thousands of lives are taken each year by guns, or better madmen having obtained them under the protection of liberal gun laws. and what is a rape compared to the crime of mr braivik, which illustrates the menace the right-wing really is for western civilization? 9/11 was the signal for the war on islamic terror, let's make 7/22 the day we started to go after their comrades in our midst.
You are a grade A whack job, that is for sure.

I've had a gun pointed at me, no trauma ensued to me. He did remember though that if you are going to point it, you had better be ready to use it.

I see now why you are kept around Qbert, you provide some light entertainment! And I find the fact that you have saved a personal picture that a fellow poster posted to be creepy, but not very surprising.

Looks like a modified FN FAL to me.

i don't save them, but remember the threads were they are. are you sure the gun wasn't fired in your head because you don't?
Nope. It's the Spanish version of the H&K G3/HK91. This version is semi-auto for the civilian market, on a US-made receiver. Totally different beast from the FAL. I used to own one. SOld it when I was severely broke. Intend on buying another once I get back to work full time.

Maybe in Europe, Bunkie. The US still has that pesky 2nd Amendment...
They're working on it here full bore as much as they can too, HW.

That photo of whoever it was is still in a gun thread here somewhere. S2

I got you. Personally, I don't give a 'fig' about automatic fire selection. Excellent shots only need one pull to hit what they aim for. That is the very reason why the US changed the M16 to a three shot burst instead of 'rock and roll'. But the 5.56mm round may need more than one hit to take down the target. A 7.62/308 round only needs one to accomplish the same thing.

Anyway, it's a nice looking gem. I wonder if you can get this in 'Bull-pup' configuration?

yes, since 1790? have braivik try and kill almost 100 people with a gun of this time. technology improved faster than human fallibility. don't we want to get rid of all this liberal nonsense? 2nd amendment; or say religious freedom, that's an euphemism for multiculturalism. which is bad. please let me stress that there is no doubt on my mind that you know how to handle your sig savely in the controlled environment of a shooting range, and gunnen his substantial arsenal. you would never shoot up the town or aim your guns at people who don't deserve it. however, can you vouch for all gun owners to be as responsible like you? isn't public and national security a greater good than private gun ownership?
I couldn't read that any further than the first line. You used to be amusing, now you are failing and I am glad we're not paying for it.
Quote:however, can you vouch for all gun owners to be as responsible like you?

Nope, not required to. Not all drivers are as responsible with their cars as I am. That's what they make jails for.

Quote: isn't public and national security a greater good than private gun ownership?

Nope. Geez! Should I issue another "CARTON OF KITTY CRAP" alert?
Yea, deep down at heart we're all like that. I've been pulling for the gov't to collapse for sometime now. Hopefully the economy gets worse and implodes everything eventually.

I had to laugh at the lady on CNN stumbling trying to string together a patchy and logically broken concept tying Palin to the shootings in Arizona and such. Everyone else was bemused standing in the PX shopping line as well, guess that is what you get when you put some bimbo in a frilly dress on TV to make her a tough political analyst. But hey if you buy it and that the right has a weakness for this stuff, it must have worked.

dashing, is that what you feel about yourself posing with a gun? and no, say this guy here is more dashing just because he doesn't need a multiplier for his value.

Q--let me get this straight. You believe that Christian fundamentalists believe in having guns, especially automatics, shooting up an island full of kids and planting bombs. In American history, it is usually the left wing extremists who don't believe in God, people like the Weather Underground (namely William Ayers), who have done stuff like that. They are the ones who loudly announce that they believe "the end justifies the means."
I'd like to see some actual, you know, facts on a claim like that. I don't recall anything like happening here...
