Flynn's Ouster, Trump & Fighting The System
#1
This is an interesting article within the Washington Free Beacon, and if true, is highly serious.  What this is likely to boil down is a "Shadow Government" within the US government, all in the name of MacDaddy and his legacy.

Quote:Former Obama Officials, Loyalists Waged Secret Campaign to Oust Flynn
Sources: Former Obama officials, loyalists planted series of stories to discredit Flynn, bolster Iran deal

The operation primarily focused on discrediting Flynn, an opponent of the Iran nuclear deal, in order to handicap the Trump administration's efforts to disclose secret details of the nuclear deal with Iran that had been long hidden by the Obama administration.

Insiders familiar with the anti-Flynn campaign told the Free Beacon that these Obama loyalists plotted in the months before Trump's inauguration to establish a set of roadblocks before Trump's national security team, which includes several prominent opponents of diplomacy with Iran. The Free Beacon first reported on this effort in January.

Sources who spoke to the Free Beacon requested anonymity in order to speak freely about the situation and avoid interfering with the White House's official narrative about Flynn, which centers on his failure to adequately inform the president about a series of phone calls with Russian officials.

Flynn took credit for his missteps regarding these phone calls in a brief statement released late Monday evening. Trump administration officials subsequently stated that Flynn's efforts to mislead the president and vice president about his contacts with Russia could not be tolerated.

However, multiple sources closely involved in the situation pointed to a larger, more secretive campaign aimed at discrediting Flynn and undermining the Trump White House.

"It's undeniable that the campaign to discredit Flynn was well underway before Inauguration Day, with a very troublesome and politicized series of leaks designed to undermine him," said one veteran national security adviser with close ties to the White House team. "This pattern reminds me of the lead up to the Iran deal, and probably features the same cast of characters."

The Free Beacon first reported in January that, until its final days in office, the Obama administration hosted several pro-Iran voices who were critical in helping to mislead the American public about the terms of the nuclear agreement. This included a former Iranian government official and the head of the National Iranian American Council, or NIAC, which has been accused of serving as Iran's mouthpiece in Washington, D.C.

Since then, top members of the Obama administration's national security team have launched a communications infrastructure after they left the White House, and have told reporters they are using that infrastructure to undermine Trump's foreign policy.

"It's actually Ben Rhodes, NIAC, and the Iranian mullahs who are celebrating today," said one veteran foreign policy insider who is close to Flynn and the White House. "They know that the number one target is Iran … [and] they all knew their little sacred agreement with Iran was going to go off the books. So they got rid of Flynn before any of the [secret] agreements even surfaced."

Flynn had been preparing to publicize many of the details about the nuclear deal that had been intentionally hidden by the Obama administration as part of its effort to garner support for the deal, these sources said.

Flynn is now "gone before anybody can see what happened" with these secret agreements, said the second insider close to Flynn and the White House.

Sources in and out of the White House are concerned that the campaign against Flynn will be extended to other prominent figures in the Trump administration.

If you get the time, please read the entire article.  S22

I think that this ultimately leads back to MacDaddy. Its due to one of his many additions to the laws, before he left office.

Here's what I mean: Surprise: At the End, Obama Administration Gave NSA Broad New Powers

Quote:One of the central questions behind the Mike Flynn flap that should have been asked but largely wasn't is: who was wiretapping the general? The answer, we know now, was the National Security Agency, formerly known as No Such Agency, the nation's foremost signals-intelligence (SIGINT) collection department.

Once compartmentalized to avoid injuring private citizens caught up in the net of the Black Widow (as we all are already) and her technological successors, the NSA was suddenly handed greater latitude in what it could share with other, perhaps more politicized bodies of the intelligence community. Why?

This means the NSA wiretapped Gen Flynn's phone and then passed it along to others, who obviously are using such to pass along to the Media Whores. And this is all from the NYTimes no less.

Here's two people's take on all this General Flynn issue, and who is really causing all the leaks, and confusion, in the new Trump Administration.  These idiots are not realizing that what they are really doing is to take less than solid Trump supporters and turning them into staunch supporters.  Take myself for example, It was all I could to to pull the lever for Trump in the voting booth.  He just turned me off.  But with all this underhanded activity by Obama operatives, I am quickly becoming a Trump rooter.  I despise these Progressives cutthroats and want them all kicked out of their positions.  In fact I would cheer if something were to happen to MacDaddy, so I won't ever have to put up with him again.

I'm Fed Up With MacDaddy, and want him to disappear...........forever!

But nobody made Gen. Flynn lie to the vice president. That is why Trump had to fire him.

I thought he was guilty of "omission" rather than lying.

Flynn's axing had more to do with keeping tarnish off Pence than anything Flynn actually did or said.  I really doubt that he did anything wrong, other than getting crossed up about whether a topic was mentioned in a conversation.  The FBI didn't seem to find anything compelling about it.  Think about all the stupid sloppy crap that Obama officials did over eight years ... and nobody ever got fired.  But if you're in the Trump Administration, this episode pretty much serves as fair notice that people better bring their A game ... because any lapse in judgement is going to be picked up by sleepers at NSA and broadcast to the entire @#^%$ planet.

Yeah, Flynn made the mistake of mis-remembering details of a conversation. Hillary didn't mis-remember anything - she just lied about it.

You know, the overwhelming irritating thing is that she has never been made to pay for all those lies, AND her unlawful actions. Granted she lost the election, but that doesn't really count. She could have been as pure as Romney, and still lose. But its as though she is broadcasting that one is rewarded for breaking the law, lying shamelessly, and never doing the morally right thing. She's totally "amoral".

The greatest result of her, and Bill's, actions are that such things as truthfulness, morality, and virtue, are old fashioned and something that losers follow. Its going to have a profound impact on younger people, not only skating by, but actually profiting by such things. I was always taught that leaders were also required to set a moral example to the troops, but her example is exactly the wrong ones to be teaching the following.

Its just such a shame. While she is enjoying all of her confessed poverty, and privilege, others are left to pay the price at the slightest drop. I know the universe is not fair, but for just once I wish we were able to see her wither and squirm in her manifest guilt. Gah

In case there is any question, we "pray" to God, and predators "prey" upon victims. One little vowel makes a big difference. Like the difference between "altar" and "alter"--the former is a place where you bow before God, the latter is the change His Spirit makes in you.

D'ohh... Ron, the spelling was intentional. We want Hillary to pay for her actions and not be allowed to skate,

This great article from GeoPolitical Monitor, is really a Must Read, and the reason why I modified this thread's title.  I don't know why this very thing failed to cross my mind, but make no mistake, promoting change, and trying to "Drain The Swamp", is not only going to get the DC Political Establishment after Trump, but also the "Military Industrial Complex".

This is so enlightening and dangerous, but it really is Common Sense 101.  After all, as Mr. Jakić states, why do you think President Eisenhower waited until his parting speech to warn the country about the dangers of the "Military Industrial Complex"?

I wonder how many of you all also failed to take this into account?

Quote:The Empire Strikes Back at Trump’s White House

And again: the story will not stop here. The empire (establishment) strikes back and hits a man who thought, because he practically alone, against all odds, won the presidential elections, that he can change the system. It is more than likely that he cannot. The war hero, CIC of the Normandy invasion and later US president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, was clever (or wise) enough to mention the military-industrial complex and its dangerous role only at the end of his term in office. Trump, who cannot be compared with legendary Ike in any way, did practically the same thing in the first days of his mandate, challenging this system. And sealed, thus, his destiny – as it seems now. He will be, with the “logistic help” of the Europeans who are already describing him as somebody able to launch in the next two years “a cultural revolution” (allusion to communist China) either be chased out of the White House (under any pretext), or he will be forced to become a tool in the hands of others. After all, one should remember Obama and his big promises with which he won the Peace Nobel price (hand stretched to the Muslim countries, a world without nuclear weapons etc.) He did nothing of that sort, but continued the policy of his predecessors, becoming “famous” because of his bombings of a number of countries and destabilizing the Middle East, not to mention the direct and indirect support to those who are today known as Islamist terrorists. In short: he allowed himself to be “eaten” by the system. And this is the least that could happen to Trump.

Why did this “deconstruction” of Trump begin with General Flynn? The answer is simple: because the general backed the normalization of the relations with Russia, even more he backed the cooperation with Russia in the fight against global terrorism, which means stopping any support and help for the Islamists, who are still called by many in the West “opposition,” “armed opposition,” or “fighters against tyranny and for freedom.” The military-industrial complex lives from wars and it imposed on the West the confrontation with Russia, the policy of enlarging and strengthening of the NATO (which, being a genuine relict of the Cold War, was called “obsolete” by Trump), the policy which resulted in bringing to Europe hundreds of American tanks and thousands of troops.

To put it quite simply: without the confrontation with Russia, without the continuation of the policy of imposing regimes and taking control over energy sources and main energy routes, there is no money, there is no profit. This is the reason why those who evaluated the fall of socialism in Europe as their final victory, only to see how Putin is putting into question this victory (namely standing up against a unipolar world), after absorbing the shock of Trump’s victory and his announced foreign policy, decided to take things into their hands again. Thus we may expect strengthening of anti-Russian sentiments (allegations of Russian meddling in elections, though never proven, are being repeated again and again, now prior to the presidential elections in France). We may expect a changed rhetoric both from President Trump and from the White House. And we should stop hoping for the end of the renewed Cold War. This war means profit, and those who are making this profit are not prepared to let anybody else take it from them, or to stop them making it at all; despite the fact that it is a bloody profit, “earned” at the cost of hundreds of thousands of human lives. General Flynn had this experience. President Trump, from what can be concluded right now, still has to learn the lesson.

And the “rest of the world”? Well, those who survive will tell the story.

I'm not sure the Flynn example is useful for documenting a Military-Industrial Complex that oversees all politics.

It is far better to note the banks than the Industry. The single thing that screwed up the Trump administration over the Flynn-Pence ambiguity was the expectation of a honeymoon period, where everyone could feel their way into their new jobs. Of course, Flynn had every right to communicate with diplomats and world leaders after being named to his new position. What Flynn didn't have was the radar that told him he was being set up and needed to be ultra-careful when talking to his own teammates. Pence was also steamrollered, because the questions about Flynn talking to Russia were asked in such a way to make Pence take a truth-or-dare stance on a simple question. The simple question was not simple at all - but asked in such a way that it became a sworn deposition. It was not asked in such a way that Pense could say that Flynn talking to foreign diplomats was part of his job description.

The whole thing was a damned sneaky political assassination attempt. However unready for it the administration was, they have been forewarned.

I don't believe that was the point he was making Bill.  There was absolutely no part of it that assumes the Military Industrial Complex oversees All Politics.  He's just stating that they are Heavy Players, and Eisenhower was absolutely right in saying what he did in parting from the WH.

This is all about the Movers and Shakers, who have Big Bucks at stake.  AND have you noticed that in the last week or so Trump has been making very public overtures to them, by promising to rebuild the military?  I wonder why he stated that?

Let me guess,.........he's gotten the message loud and clear. He's been telling one and all for a few weeks now, just so everyone on the planet will know. And here is his latest today in front of the governors.

Donald Trump promises 'historic' increase in US military budget. Upcoming budget will ask for $54bn increase in US defence budget

That may be good - because one thing that Trump is known for is to haggle over petty details to get prices real. I doubt he'll allow thousand-dollar toilet seats or three-thousand dollar hammers. When I worked in Kmart world headquarters, back when they were the number one retailer, the buyers destroyed the company by accepting shoddy merchandise for under the table kickbacks. I saw the end coming, when Kmart starting selling ugly bowling shirts as high-fashion ladies blouses. The CEO and CFO canned the buyers as fast as they thought they could - but gave them all golden parachutes. I think Trump would cancel the bowling shirts and pillory the crooks. In this day and age - its not the Military Industrial Complex, its the bureaucrats. The Clinton Crime family and the Democrats are dialed into quid pro quo. One thing about billionaires in your cabinet - they are less amenable for a few bucks under the table.

Roger L. Simon got this right yesterday, when he gave the Left's duplicity a name. He calls it "Politburo Politics", and I like it.

Jeff Sessions and the Democrats' Politburo Politics

This is the REAL Swamp that needs draining, thanks to Obama and eight years of Collectivist burrowing into the system.

And towards the end of the article he totally agrees with my long used description of the Media.

Quote:These media whores (jackals doesn't quite quite suffice) further act as if there is something relatively new in Russia spying on the U.S. when such activity goes back nearly a hundred years to the most revered of all Democratic administrations, FDR's.

He concludes:

Quote:Nevertheless, the current behavior of our politicians is terrible for our country and the world, especially now that Jeff Sessions has recused himself from what I predict will soon, as the president himself noted on Facebook, be acknowledged to have been a witch hunt. Chuck Schumer, Al Franken, and Nancy Pelosi particularly have behaved despicably in the grand style of Politburo politicians. The whole fraudulent narrative of the Trump-Russia alliance was made clear by, of all people, The New Yorker's David Remnick, who pointed out the obvious -- the Russians, like almost everyone, assumed Hillary Clinton was going to win the presidency and that any disrupting they may have been doing was intended to damage her future administration. Trump was beside the point.

That the current attack on Sessions started to unspool only hours after Trump made an extremely successful speech to Congress is also hardly accidental. Our own intelligence agents are promoting disinfo just like the KGB, FSB and GRU. Our government, at least a significant part of it, is indeed imitating Russia.

ONE LAST THING: This attack on Sessions is so sleazy and bogus that Democrats may be getting themselves into deeper trouble than they have bargained on. Notable among them is Jeff Bezos -- whose Washington Post has been hugely culpable. Amazon is a great service, but it can be easily copied (indeed has been). If he keeps alienating a growing percentage of the public, watch out.

Just for everyone's information, following the Jackasses honking and hooting about Session's supposed meeting with those Russians, the Russian ambassador just happened to be sitting with the Jackasses during the Trump speech.

Obviously the Jackasses own the word "Hypocrisy". Hey this is all about The End being Justified By the Means.  Uncle Karl is showing his "Thumbs Up" from the grave.

Quote:Russian Ambassador Kislyak Attended Trump Congressional Speech Tuesday – Sat With Democrats…

With all the fake news uproar over Attorney General Sessions meeting with the Russian ambassador, perhaps this photograph provides some ‘nothingburger’ perspective:

Just last Tuesday night Ambassador Kislyak attended President Trump’s speech to a Joint Session of congress.  The Russian ambassador was noted in numerous conversations with Senate Democrats and was seated on the Democrat side of the venue.

Apparently, Kislyak is a regular visitor to the Capitol as noted in this tweet reply from Brit Hume:
