But "kids" (in fact young adults) do have sexual activities no matter what you tell them.

Since there is no mention of the study using US citizens, I must assume that a huge proportion of these carriers began things by carrying themselves over the Mexican border. I could be wrong, but that seems to be the state that has the most illegal immigrants crossing over.

No. I just relayed a report precisely stating that the desease was sexualy transmitted.
The kids are all from a school with puritan reputation where abstinance is taught.
Also I was reading elsewhere that in Texas, it's an obligation to teach abstinance at schools.

Of course many could cross from Mexico. But that doesn't explain everything.

I think that even if you believe in the virtues of abstinance, it shouldn't be a reason not to teach the hygienical advanatges of protected iintercourses.
