If I'm not mistaken, the claim is that unregistered voters are registering at the polls. The Left is pushing for the acceptance of honest voters coming out for the first time - but also the Left doesn't want them vetted.

We all knew the Left would scam the votes - that is their M.O., but at this point, it looks as if the Governor is winning in spite of the fraud.

Wisconsin would be in the top 10% of liberal states and maybe higher as far as union ethic goes. This is a devastating setback for the public unions.

I heard tonight even Governor Brown in California is seriously considering cutbacks in public union benefits.

When all the dust has settled, only Illinois will escape this due to the gangster city of Chicago being the engine that runs that state. The rest of us will bail them out someday when they default.

Ron Radosh, over at Pajamas Media, talks about how the Jackass Left is contorting itself, all over its need to explain why it lost so badly in Wisconsin.

Lipsky goes on to note that a free labor movement can be a pillar of strength in a democratic society, and he reminds us that Sarah Palin — yes the detested VP candidate in 2008 — reminded the Republican convention that her husband was “a proud member of the United Steel Workers” and that she herself was a union member when she was a telephone company dispatcher.

The fight, then, is not against organized labor but rather the outworn and elite labor groups who benefit from the hard work of everyone else — including their brethren in the private sector. And even public workers seem to get this, since once Walker’s reforms went into effect, so many of them chose with their pocketbooks to drop union membership.

So the Left is wrong. John Nichols at The Nation [6] is wrong when he writes that “Walker’s economic policies didn’t work. But his advertisements did.” Ben Adler [7] is wrong when he writes that the Walker victory,

So that is their simple answer: The Republicans spent more. They can ignore everything else that stands in the way of their inability to see why they were defeated. Every left-wing site makes that point alone, and repeats it endlessly. They have no other explanation.

No wonder. As the Left sees things, they are correct and represent the real people. When those they claim to speak for vote against them, the only reaction they have is bewilderment. And so they come up with one answer their followers can understand — the rich bought the outcome.

If they are right, the American people are stupid. Perhaps the electorate knows something the Left does not. But don’t expect them to grasp that simple truth.

Lehman's win (if it isn't overturned after further scrutiny) has to belong in the Dictionary under Pyrrhic Victories. The Senate is adjourned and won't reconvene until after the next election (presuming that the nut 'rats won't stage yet another preemptive recall over the summer). If I were a Wisconsin voter of any stripe I'd be p*ssed. Elections aren't cheap and they seem to have them in that state every couple of months or so.

The Democrat rant is that outsider Conservative billionaires bought the election - when in fact, it was outside Union activists that drove the whole thing.

If I was an outstate union member, I would be royally upset that my local dues went for such a stupid cause. In the end, taking the money out of my local for lessening the power of unions across the nation. Brilliant!

The (In)Justice Department is suing the state over the new election maps. It's cost the State of Wisconsin a $million$ so far. Purportedly it will be appealed to the Supreme Court which will cost the state even more ... hopefully, by the time it gets argued the Solicitor General will be somebody that can find their arse with both hands (preferably less) who will choose to drop the matter. Even with all the excess elections and litigation it still has to be less expensive than having 'rats in charge and following the path of California and Illinois. Still, it's a helluva lot of money down a 'rat hole.
